It is a truth universally acknowledged by all that Whitstable needs another website like the proverbial hole in the head. Nevertheless, this is a part of this website which is dedicated to aspects of Whitstable which maybe don't get an airing in other places.
This section is unashamedly hedonistic in concentrating heavily on eating and drinking establishments in and around the town as well as some other parts of East Kent.
This section should have some appeal to locals, or "natives" as they are sometimes known. However, it should appeal to visitors, i.e. tourists who are sometimes pejoratively referred to as "DFL's" (which stands for Down From London) but who are nevertheless quite leen to burn their hard earned cash in Whitstable.
